U.S. “Mickey” Gill, a Nixon Vanderhye Shareholder and registered Patent Attorney, combines an impressive technical skill set and more than two decades of experience to handle highly complex prosecution and litigation for his clients’ intellectual property assets. His practice encompasses all aspects of patent and trademark prosecution and litigation, including inter partes reviews before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

During his career, Mickey has participated in more than 30 patent litigations in federal courts across the country. In addition to resolving his clients’ disputes through litigation, the former design engineer maintains an extensive prosecution practice focused on high-tech electrical, electronic, computer, and communications innovations. Mickey is well-versed in trade secret, common-law trademark, copyright, and IP licensing matters.

Mickey regularly provides clients with opinions involving infringement, validity, freedom to operate, and general due diligence. He also advises on IP issues and strategies that help guide his clients’ legal approaches and business decisions.
