Nixon & Vanderhye P.C., a leading Washington, D.C. area intellectual property law firm, is seeking a Maintenance Fee / Annuity Specialist who can work on a hybrid basis in our Arlington, VA office. Prior law firm experience preferred.

The Maintenance Fee / Annuity Specialist will handle processing of US Maintenance Fees and foreign annuities, including:

• Send letters to Clients requesting instruction regarding payment of maintenance fees / annuities utilizing annuity service provider
• Act on Client instruction regarding payment / non-payment of fees
• Process invoices and forwarding payment receipts
• Provide reports to client regarding maintenance fees / annuities
• Maintain and update docket related to maintenance fees / annuities
• Verify / correct data as needed in docketing database

Job Requirements:

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Able to work independently (backup will be provided by others in the department, when needed)
• Able to interact professionally with Clients, and attorneys, and annuity service provider
